The Deacons Ministry are Servant Leaders who assist the Pastor in proclaiming the gospel; providing care for all the church members, and our wider community. They serve in maintaining church fellowship and prayerfully work alongside the Pastor to move the spiritual Vision and Mission of the church forward.

What we do:

• Share in setting up Sunday Service

• Assign worship leaders

• Prepare Communion for 1st Sunday

• Maintain the Visitors’ Book

• Welcome and prepare new members for Baptism or Right Hand of Fellowship

• Convene new members classes

• Visit the sick and shut-in

• Provide for those in need through the Benevolent Fund

• Handle floral "In Memory of " requests

• Send hello cards, email or call FBC Norwood family and friends
